I have used My Maps from Google to make a map with all the places of origin of the matches that have ancestors from Montenegro. Link below:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1_7aWgN3mRomM3S5wwlOQCh61Tkzipms&usp=sharingThe number of autosomal matches from around Žablak is 2. The number of autosomal matches from around Novi Vinodolski and Novalja is 4 each, presented in the previous message. As I said, the connection with the sea coast appears more strong than the one with the Žablak region. This is why I think that the hypothesis of the Novljani coming from the sea coast should not be discarded. But of course, this is a sample of one, and may not be representative for all those that have the I-FGC22061 haplogroup. If anyone else has taken the Ancestry or 23andMe autosomal test, he can very easily make a map with the places of origin of the matches having ancestors from Montenegro and share it on the forum.
Let's also not forget that my father's autosomal matches from Lika-Senj county confirms the presence of multiple families with the I-FGC22061 haplogroup there. We already knew from YFull about Krtinić (I-FT36856) and Barać (I-Y50461/I-Y54761) having the paternal ancestors from Lika-Senj county. Now it appears that my father's ancestor with the I-PH3895 also lived there.
CosicZ, the theory about the I-FGC22061 haplogroup coming from Carniola Germans is a speculation, an hypothesis, nothing more. Of course, in order to be true, we should have I-FGC22045 present in today's Slovenia, Austria or Germany, which is not the case. But I-FGC22045 also doesn't exist in today's France or Italy and we continue to take into account the Norman hypothesis.
I don't know why Tatarliov appears so interesting. He is I-M253 now and could not even be I-P109 in the end. More interesting is any of the Albanians with the confirmed I-FGC22045 haplogroup. They will probably create a new branch under I-FGC22045.
