A new feature called the “Locator” is now available on YFull. It is designed for users who have uploaded their Y-chromosome test results (BigY or whole-genome sequencing) and/or mitochondrial DNA results (mtFull), and have also entered the geographic coordinates of their ancestor’s place of origin in their profile.
Once this information is provided, the map displays other users within three distance ranges - up to 50 km, 100 km, and 200 km from the specified location. Ancient DNA samples are marked with red indicators.
