Hello everyone!
I am looking for information on my great great grandmother's family before she came to the states. Her name was Dragica Sikirica, born February 4,1898. She was from Veljun, Croatia some documents say Vodevic Brdo. While she was alive she told my grandmother she was from Karlovac, but that's all anyone knew before I started researching.
Her parents were Peter and Anna (Petrovic) Sikirica. Peter came to the states but I couldn't find a death certificate for him. Dragica put on her marriage license in 1913 that both of her parents were deceased. I am unsure if that was true or why she would put that if it was not true.
I know that she did have a sister, Angelina, who came to the states and died here. She also had another sister named Milka who was listed in Dragica's obituary in 1970's as still alive and in Europe, unknown specifically where. I am looking for any information on my family before they emigrated. They were also Serbian Orthodox but I do not know anything aside from this.
