– In return for releasing their DNA for examination, volunteers get a complete sequencing of their genome – emphasizes the specialist. Thanks to this, you can determine which mutations they have and which diseases they are more exposed to. You will also learn where our distant ancestors came from.

The genome can be privately sequenced in sequence. Such services for several thousand dollars are provided by companies from China. However, Jacek Wojciechowicz warns that the use of data obtained in this way can not be guaranteed. Nobody has ever researched this in Poland.

The expert does not hide that data on the genome of the Poles, who will participate in the project, will also be provided to companies, especially pharmaceutical, and scientific research. The interest in this data is enormous.
