Staro Petrovo Selo
« послато: Август 24, 2021, 05:39:42 поподне »
I am trying to help a friend research her Serbian ancestry.
She has US documents that say Veljko Radulovic was from Staro Petrovo Selo and his wife Marija was still living there.  They had a son Milan they left there and Marija immigrated to the US.
She is unsure of Marija's maiden name - possibly Milosevic.
What Parish was  Staro Petrovo Selo in (in 1920) and if church records still exist.
Veljko birth year is 1881 and Milan's was 1920.

According to the Schematism from 1924, Staro Petrovo Selo belonged to Parish of Nova Gradiška, and they had their own temple.

Thank you.  So if that is where they were truly from and their births/marriages/deaths were recorded in the Orthodox church, it would be in this collection?
