Y Heatmap
A new Y chromosome mapping tool developed by Hunter Provyn in cooperation with YSEQ and YFull.

Y Heatmap displays the samples on the YFull tree on a geographical map. It calculates the haplogroup frequency relative to the population density and allows a completely new insight in the distribution of Y haplogroups. Simply enter the SNP that defines your branch and enjoy!

At this stage we consider this Y Heatmap as a beta version and encourage testing the software by haplogroup researchers and genealogists. Please report any issues to Hunter Provyn. He'll fix glitches and add features as long as we pay him for his work.

Врло симпатично :)

Мада могло би да буде прецизније, да постоје неке ознаке (географске даљине, на пример). Није ми сасвим јасно која боја означава колику густину, поготово што их је могуће појачати или смањити.
Боје умеју да се мењају када се приђе ближе, што помало изазива збрку.

Не разумем потпуно податке који се добију када се кликне на појединачни резултат.
Чини ми се да сам на мапи али нисам потпуно сигуран (поменуто непотпуно разумевање).

Зашто се мени на Филогеограферу не види карта него само мрље?
