Вероватно је већина вас приметила да постоји некакав проблем везан за овај сајт. Пре пар дана сам у једној групи видео објаву везано за ySearch где је особа која је поставила статус објавила своју преписку са компанијом FTDNA која је надлежна за овај сајт.
Мислио сам да је још неког са нашег форума видео исту и да ће је објавити овде али изгледа да до тога није дошло.
Ево преписке особе која је објавила статус и компаније Family Tree DNA.
Bad news for ysearch users from FTDNA....
Today i recieved this response from FTDNA:
Hi ******, ySearch is no longer being updated. The site remains online primarily so existing customers can access the information they've previously uploaded there. We have no plans to update ySearch in the future and do not recommend using the site.
ySearch was primarily setup so that people who tested their Y chromosome at different companies could transfer their test results into a unified database to find matches. No other companies offer Y-STR tests anymore, so the only new test results coming out are from our company and already in our general database. We have no plans to revive ySearch or make a replacement.
Дакле, сајт ће остати на мрежи (питање је до кад?) али се све његове погућности попут слања порука тестиранима, креирања нових налога и сл. више неће моћи користити.

У задњих месец дана сам три пута покушао да се регистујем. Безуспешно. . . :-\ Сад ми је јасно због чега...

Дакле, сајт ће остати на мрежи (питање је до кад?) али се све његове погућности попут слања порука тестиранима, креирања нових налога и сл. више неће моћи користити.

Проверио сам на списку. Нема мог презимена.
И даље безуспешно покушавам. Никако да ми доделе User ID. Стално ми избаци ово:

Зар није било неко обавјештење да се Y search гаси (преузима га ФТДНА) и да ће још неко вријеме остати постојећа база, али да нових уноса неће бити.

И ја сам то чуо, али ми Radul каже да ипак може. Ја покушао, и не иде. :-\

Успео сам се коначно регистроват' уз доста муке! Ни сам не знам како. ;D

May 24th, 2018, ysearch, our free, public genetic-genealogy database, will no longer be accessible as a result of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) going into effect on May 25th.
As the founders of the direct-to-consumer genetic genealogy industry, we did not make this decision lightly. We believe it is necessary given the resources it would take to make both sites GDPR compliant. The current environment regarding DNA privacy as well as recent events in the news, particularly DNA databases being utilized to solve cold cases, were also considerations, but the rigorous requirements of GDPR would have prompted this action irrespective of current events.
User privacy policies across all of the major consumer genetic-genealogy service providers have become a topic of national conversation, and it is our goal to ensure that our privacy policies continue to meet or exceed industry norms.
We encourage you to continue your journey of discovery with us on FamilyTreeDNA.com, and we thank you for your participation in "citizen science" over the years.
